FAQ

Face-FX specialise in facepainting, and we have over 40 artists on our books. We are also able to provide mini-makeovers, special effects makeup and glitter tattoos. We have numerous contacts with other entertainers, and are proud to work with Nick Spellman, the animal man and the Balloon Fairies.

I trained in theatrical makeup at the Greasepaint makeup school in Ealing, West London and have also attended a facepainting course at Charles Fox, Covent Garden. All of our artists are CRB checked and have full public liability insurance.

For best results only use professionally qualified facepainters. A good face painter will only use specialised, water-based, hypoallergenic paints. These ensure top quality results and do not irritate the skin. Also, for your peace of mind, Face-FX have full public liability insurance and are CRB checked.

When removing facepaint, first use baby wipes to remove the bulk of the make-up, followed by mild soap and water.

Rates depend upon the type and duration of booking and also on the distance to travel. Please contact us to find out more
